Victory Square committing $10 million towards children’s charity initiatives in BC

Vancouver-based investing firm Victory Square is dedicating $10 million towards charity initiatives that improve the lives of children in BC.

Over 50 organizations across BC have been selected to receive funding from Victory Square. They include: BC Children’s Hospital Foundation, Science World, Meal Share, WE Family, Variety BC, Room 2 Read, A4K, Simon Fraser Victory Square Girl’s Tech Camp, Children’s Wish Foundation, Covenant House BC and KIDSSAFE.

“My family was welcomed to Canada when they escaped a repressive regime in the early seventies. My parents instilled in my siblings and I that freedom is a gift and that one must always give back in whatever way he or she can be it through time, talent and/or treasure,” said Shafin Diamond Tejani, founder of Victory Square.
